Jedna baterija srpske vojske u Prvom svetskom ratu, usiljenim maršem, bez zastoja i predaha,
Srbije u Prvom svetskom ratu.
One Serbian army battery in World War I, in
forced march with no stopping and rest, arrives to Cer and, in decisive
moment, enters the fight and throws off Austrian troops which penetrated
into the country. This is not only the chronicle of the battle of Cer,
but also the Serbian drama and drama of one nation who did the
unachievable during the fight against the empire which wanted to take
away their country. This drama is based on credible events and authentic
documents. According to many critics, it is the best film created after
the Second World War with the topic of Serbian suffering in World War I.
Owing to the excellent directing of Zika Mitrovic, the film was awarded
with Silver Arena for the Best Film and Golden Arena for the Best
Director at a most significant film festival in Pula.
